Rather than laces holding the eyestays together, D8670 from Remonte use a set of six chain-links tipped with metal studs. This gives these leather ankle boots a tough, punk vibe, backed up by the zip track detailing on the side of the shaft. Access is via a zip that runs down the inner side of the shaft.Once inside, you will find a padded tongue and fleece lining throughout. The padded, removable, insole sits atop a chunky, shock-absorbing vinyl foam outsole with deep grooves for grip. The light weight belying its solid, no-nonsense appearance.
